once again
the sound of the waves
softly crashing against the breakwaters
washing away unwanted thoughts
it hears our grievances
and pent up emotions
it's always there when we need to confide
with cool wind in my hair
and warmth wrapped around me
my day was made a better one
that one soft touch
was a moment i never had before
