twas an eventful day...

headed to work in the morning.. been quite a while since i went in so early.. lol..
had breakfast with my PBs and RMs... then it was back to the real stuff..

well.. actually work was fine.. but one person really got on my nerves! he stepped on my tail~ he makes me fuming mad please! arghz... imagine this guy given something to do last month.. which was due end of last month.. and yet it was not done even till today.. so much so that my boss had to call me in to help.. fine~ so i did my share.. and when i completed.. he didn't even do 1! what lousy attitude is that? so much for work ethics.. and he even implored me to not go away...

"Charmaine please don't go.. help me do it.. I'll give you money.. I'll give you anything you want.."

my gosh! that was the last straw! and i just turned to him and told him in his face, "I'm not that cheap!" -walks away-

like come on la! i can't stand people who are so darn irresponsible! with such loathsome, half past six, attitude~ argh...

work was over after i walked out on him... thank goodness i didn't stay.. -rolls eyes- well at least that gave me a boost in my ego.. lol..

had dinner at No Sign Board restaurant at Geylang..
it was Dawn's birthday~ ^-^

the birthday girl and my cheesecake! (:

that really made my day just right.. with a cherry on top.. haha.. the jokes and laughter we had were priceless man! haha.. damn~ haha..

from the spaghetti tops.. to the bulls and wolves.. to the glass eyes and dentures.. aiya.. whatever nonsense la.. haha.. they can really make me laugh la.. lol..

ate so much today.. tomorrow i shall go swim and gym it off.. -.-''

hmmmm....
i'm just thinking... this was us last year at dawn's place during the Christmas season...

what will it be like this year? hmmm... heehee~

and the rain dances..

it's been raining for the past few days.. making it so lovely a weather for me to turn in to.. lol.. not to mention.. even at lectures -.- lol...

anyways.. omg la! semester is about to come to an end in like 3 months and i have NOT started on revision!! PBF is a serious gonner.. H-E-L-P! ok... Charmaine must stop whining -.- haha..

there's this undulating voice at the back of my mind... and yet i'm still lost in reverie...

today was a really long day man..

had econs.. but i was quite tired.. lol.. i was sort of dozing off till my friend woke me up -oops?- =p

anyways.. my dear bestie came to SIM!!! AINI!!! thank you so much and i love your hair! it's so darn tempting >.< lol..

it was unfortunate that my day was already planned out and i couldn't spend time with her =(

i made a trip down to the dentist today.. like finally!! -.- lol.. my teeth feel so much cleaner now~ *smiles with a sparkle in a teeth* haha.. reminds me of Mr Darlie... >.<

parents took me out to see the interior designer as well.. but i'm not very impressed as yet.. he's not really done with my room's sketching and stuff.. but at least he remembered i wanted it in pink! :p haha..

okok... my head's like throbbing.. i think it's coz i got caught in a really heavy rain.. feeling very cold...

i need a nap now...

i'm sort of bored.. so i'm turning to my dear bloggie... heehee~

i'm in a quite happy mood today.. lol.. no idea why.. but just entertain my nonsense aiight? lol...

oh man.. i wanna watch enhanted so badly! lol..

you know how these stories are about happy endings and how the protagonists live happily ever after while the antagonists practically just perish?
if only those can really happen right? haha..

sadly.. none of these exist in this lunatic world of ours..

well.. maybe i'm weird la.. i'm the sentimental sort and hence i love fairytales.. doesn't matter how they turn out to be.. just that i'd very much prefer to paint my own picture of my fairytale while it lasts.. heehee~

damn.. when's the day i can find that so called knight in shining armour.. who will save this damsel in distress.. haha! at the rate things are going.. it's either i stay in distress or i get one who's wrapped in aluminium foil.. haha..

have you ever felt as if you're inencarcerated to this life of yours? sometimes it chokes la.. especially when it comes to doing so much work >.< -niggles-

but then again.. life isn't always that bad ya? there are always reasons to smile and be happy! heehee~

i've got so many activities lined up for me.. and it feels great~ heehee

i'm going to bake more cheesecake with xinglong tomorrow.. haha..

and grace~~~ how dare you say you don't trust my cheesecake?! hahahah.. i'll prove you wrong, laydee~ ^-^

after the clock struck 12am.. i swear we were all retarding.. lol.. not to mention.. dawn.. i think her brain went on autopilot.. lol.. she just prattled and prattled on.. singing rubbish and spouting utter nonsense making us laugh.. lol.. it was like at if she has totally lost it and was in desperate need to go on her drips... >.< haha..

moving on..

there's so many things i want to do! i've been in a holiday mood since like... forever! haha..

a Happy Christmas
Many Many Presents! haha..

you know what? i can't think of any more.. =/ i just wanna be happy.. that's all.. don't need all those fancy stuff.. just a warm cosy day would be good enough... that's all i ask for..

oh man... i'm quite tired.. i think i'll take a nap after my lunch.. haha... hungry~ >.<

the only thing constant is change...

since everyone's stuck on this topic.. i'll just join in the fun.. lol..

well come on.. it's true isn't it? tell me about change.. i know so much about it at my end.. lol.. then again it's something we have to conform to in order to be who we are today.. and to be part of what the world is today..

here's a song which i find so very accurate to how i'm feeling... it's a track from Beowulf... sung by Idina Menzel.. gosh i am in love with this song!
sorry i don't have the mp3 to load it as my blog's music..

but i do have a youtube video for you all.. enjoy!!!

random: my hands are itching for the touch of the smooth mahjong tiles... haha.. and tonight i'm going for an overnight mahjong session at my friend's place!! ah!!! oh man.. so much to blog about.. but i shall not ruin the main topic of the post.. will blog about it another time =p

all the best for tonight little one! own them! haha..

Brave

I don't know just where I'm going
and tomorrow it's a little overwhelming
and the air is cold and I'm not the same anymore
I've been running in your direction for too long now
I've lost my own reflection
and I can't look down if you're not there to catch me when I fall

If this is the moment I stand here on my own
If this is my right of passage that somehow leads me home
I might be afraid but it's my turn to be brave

If this is the last chance before we say goodbye
at least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid 'cause it's my turn to be brave

All along all I ever wanted was to be the light when your life was daunting
but i can't see mine when I feel as though you're pushing me away
Well, whose to blame?
Are we making the right choices?
'Cause we can't be sure if we're hearing our own voices
As we close the door even though we are so desperate to stay

If this is the moment I stand here on my own
If this is my right of passage that somehow leads me home
I might be afraid but it's my turn to be brave

If this is the last chance before we say goodbye
at least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid 'cause it's my turn to be brave

and I might still cry
and I might still bleed
these thorns in my side
this heart on my sleeve
and lightning may strike this ground at my feet
and I might still crash
but I still believe

This is the moment I stand here all alone
With everything I have inside everything I own
I might be afraid but it's my turn to be brave

If this is the last time before we say goodbye
at least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid it's my turn to be brave

a lonely girl
in a dark corner
prevaricated
with a heavy baggage hoisted over her shoulders
in puddle hurts
distracted and absent

memories...
like a scream down a hall way
reverberate throughout her life today
so sinister
never quite notice
its malevolent inclination to destroy -
happiness

death...
seductive
salacious
lascivious
no?

the hand in the mirror
not mine
both by sides
they have no business
yet assigned-yet aligned with her remoteless eyes
the hand in the mirror

taking a step out
looking around her
looking at her world
it is innocious

she was once recalcitrant
but now...
(:

go figure~

Eye, defy what you hear here:
a veneer of soundisguised sights and senses said instead
Of simply felt,
with no need for rearranging.

today was an interesting birthday experience.. who ever thought that my cake would be a birthday cake?! >.<

anyways.. you know what? just looking around me.. i see so many things... hear so many words..

i'm playing Tug of War.. well.. i feel like i'm the rope...

conflicts..
everywhere..
inevitable..

but why am i always stuck in the middle?

washing of feet? i believe i ought to do so for some.. while there are others who should wash them for me..

gosh.. church choir was something i used to look forward to.. but politics? a total turn off...

sense of belonging? slowly depleting...

but now i might be entrusted with a heavier responsibility.. oh gosh.. what a mess i'm in..

hopefully life will work out fine man...

oh gosh.. i'm thinking of Christmas... New Year's Eve... fireworks... and how lonely i'll be... well.. i guess life doesn't just always have ups...

life goes on.. i hope those blessed couples out there will have a great time in december.. may you guys always be in bliss~ (:

certain days were pretty rough... but i know there will always be a silver lining (:

i look around me and i see..
there are people who are less fortunate than me...

maybe i should just appreciate what i have and not look back on what i don't..
difficult. but i'm still trying..

i'm in need of happy days.. haha..

and you know what???

Christmas is coming and i haven't done my shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG LA!!!!! haha.. anyone needs a shopping companion? let me know k? haha...

hmmm... there's one thing i'm wishing for christmas.. and i'm not telling :p

i hope i have a better Christmas this year..

i was a pretty down girl on friday.. thinking that i'll be lonely...

did some studying... a wee bit la.. i guess it's better than nothing..

spent both fri and sat at home.. i almost went MAD! haha...
not only that.. i also felt a sense of nostalgia... and that just took me through my albums of CJChoir.. damn i miss Prague!!! when i was there.. i was so sick of seeing architecture after architecture.. but when i look back on the photos.. damn la! i miss it like hell!!!! i miss the wonderful memories!!! (i might be going there next year ^-^)

well... of course... weekends got better thanks to Him.. haha...
he never fails to put a smile on my face...

i can't believe it but we ate a family feast at KFC! like 2 people sharing a feast! we were truly MAD! haha... got a free box of honeystars... and he gave it to me... knowing that i eat them when i study.. heehee~ thankew!!!

oh! and i'm so proud to know he can play certain songs i like on the piano!!! ah!!! -swoons-

i always look forward to weekends.. they always give me a great kick start to the upcoming week... heehee~

haha.. i'm on cloud 10 with a silver lining... =p

random: i want a keyboard soon! those who are familiar with them.. should i get Roland, Yamaha or Korg? would appreciate your suggestions.. thankies~

today was quite a day.. lol..

i dragged myself out of bed to attend PBF class at 12pm as i didn't have math in the morning which i normally do so...

thanks to ben i managed to get a ride to school.. as opposed to travelling with the horrid crowd in the mrt...

PBF was such a bore for the 1st 1h20min.. nothing unusual.. it's his usual procedure anyways.. no matter how many times he recaps.. i just don't get it -.-'' haha...

i was supposed to attend some ACCA talk after class.. but i decided to skip it.. coz i figured i'll be taking CPA once i'm out instead...

so headed down to play pool with you yi and chee seng.. they told me they're noobs and amateurs... YA RIGHT! i tio trashed la... lol...

lastly.. to top it off... i went to the gym with my parents today.. heehee~ so cute... rather fun too...

next week is going to be a really slack week for me.. just a 2-day week thanks to the public holiday.. i think i'm really lucky.. coz many public holidays tend to fall on thursday.. lol.. and hence i have long breaks :p

damn.. i haven't been studying at all.. can someone just give me a kick start... some Ea... damn sian la...
